Explanation of Policy Changes. This change
incorporates new guidance into
Volume 3, Chapter 18, Section 5, Part C Operations
Specifications—Airplane Terminal Instrument Procedures and Airport Authorizations
and Limitations. It revises operations specification (OpSpec)/management specification
(MSpec)/letter of authorization (LOA) C073 to delete a section that requires
operators to have the Flight Path Angle (FPA) displayed in the cockpit. This
change will now allow all operators with approved vertical navigation (VNAV)
and databases to be authorized OpSpec/MSpec/LOA C073.
