TASK DESCRIPTION:

To certificate a Part 145 repair station to ensure facilities and equipment meet the requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulations.

 

SUBTASK 1:

Receive initial inquiry for certification of repair stations/satellite station

1.    Review applicable regulations, guidance, and definitions applicable to repair stations

2.    Review certificate holder’s repair station and quality control manual

3.    Review office file or coordinate with the responsible Flight Standards Office for outstanding issues and areas requiring special emphasis.

4.    Coordinate inspection with certificate holder, as appropriate

5.    Certification Services Oversight Process (CSOP)
