1.         Receive operator/applicant’s MEL/revision request for approval, or receive notification that a mandatory Master Minimum Equipment (MMEL) revision has occurred

2.         Access MMEL Subsystem and verify/download current MMEL for specific aircraft

3.         Provide operator with copy of MMEL, or site for downloading, as required

4.         Evaluate MEL/revision submitted by operator/applicant

4.1        Compare operator/applicant’s MEL to MMEL to ensure operator/applicant’s MEL/revision is not less restrictive than MMEL

4.2        Ensure operator/applicant’s MEL/revision operating procedures and instructions are technically correct
