TASK DESCRIPTION:

Observe the Certificate Holder’s Check Airmen and/or Instructor(s) training program/course(s) and compare the presentation to the Certificate Holder’s approved Check Airmen/Instructors training program. Document the results of the comparison and, in addition, any observed deficiencies in the approved program.

 

SUBTASK 1:

Review FAA Check Airmen/Instructors training guidance material.

Objective/Skill:

Performance:

·     Review the information listed in the supplemental information section contained in DCT 4.2.7.

·     Review the guidance and policy contained in FAA Order 8900.1, Vol. 3, Chap. 20, Sec. 4 and Vol. 6, Chap. 2, Sec. 21.

Conditions:

·     Using ATOS DCT EPI 4.2.7 (See Note Below)

·     FAA Order 8900.1, Vol. 3, Chap. 20, Sec. 4 and Vol. 6, Chap. 2, Sec. 21.

Document the results of the observation and any additional deficiencies that have been discovered. Debrief the Check Airmen/Instructors, Certificate Holder, and Principal Operations Inspector (POI).
