TASK DESCRIPTION:

Observe the Certificate Holder’s ADE training program/course(s) and compare the presentation to the Certificate Holder’s approved ADE training program. Document the results of the comparison and, in addition, any observed deficiencies in the approved program.

 

SUBTASK 1:

Review and become familiar with FAA ADE training guidance material.

Objective/Skill:

Performance:

·    Review the information listed in the supplemental information section contained in DCT 4.2.10.

·    Review the guidance and policy contained in FAA Order 8900.1,

·    Vol. 13, Chap. 1, and

·    Vol. 6, Chap. 2, Sec. 21.

·    Know how to apply the Management Responsibility and Authority Observables.

SUBTASK 4:

Observe an ADE training program/course(s) and compare the curriculum to the Certificate Holder’s approved program.

To determine if the person identified by the Certificate Holder having responsibility and/or authority for the ADE training program is qualified, knowledgeable, and recognizes that responsibility and/or authority.

Document the results of the observation and any additional deficiencies that have been discovered. Debrief the ADE, Certificate Holder, and Principal Operations Inspector (POI).
