TASK DESCRIPTION:

Inspect the Certificate Holder’s Crewmember and Dispatcher Records to determine compliance with the regulatory requirements.

 

SUBTASK 1:

Coordinate the inspection.

Objective/Skill:

Performance:

Notify the Operator and coordinate the inspection date and time.

Conditions:

Oral or written.

Standards:

IAW FAA Order 8900.1, Vol. 6, Chap. 2, Sec. 14.

Knowledge:

Understand the Guidance and Policy contained in FAA Order 8900.1, Vol. 6, Chap. 2, Sec. 14.

 

SUBTASK 2:

Review the policies, procedures and regulatory requirements for the appropriate crewmember or dispatcher recordkeeping process contained in the Certificate Holder’s manual.

Objective/Skill:

Performance:

Review the information listed in the supplemental information section contained in DCT 4.3.2.

Conditions:

·    Using ATOS DCT EPI 4.3.2 (see note below),

·    FAA Order 8900.1, Vol. 6, Chap. 2, Sec. 14, and

·    14 CFR part  121, Subpart  V.

Standards:

SUBTASK 4:

To determine if the person identified by the Certificate Holder having responsibility and/or authority for documenting crewmember and dispatcher records is qualified, knowledgeable, and recognizes that responsibility and/or authority.

Conduct an interview.

Using ATOS DCT EPI 4.3.2, Section 2.

Standards:

IAW EPI 4.3.2, Section 2-Management Responsibility and Authority Observables.

SUBTASK 5:

Debrief the results of the inspection with the Certificate Holder and Principal Operations Inspector (POI) as required and document results.
