TASK DESCRIPTION:

 

Observe and evaluate the in-flight operations of a Certificate Holder within the total operational environment of the air transportation system.

Document the results of the observation and any observed deficiencies.

 

SUBTASK 1:

ALL OPERATORS

Review FAA cockpit en route inspection guidance material.

ELEMENT 1.1:

ATOS

Review the information listed in the Supplemental Information section of the DCT.

Objective / Skill:

Performance: 

Review the information listed in the Supplemental Information section contained in DCT 3.1.3.

Become familiar with the operating procedures, and facilities used by the Certificate Holder.

Review available policies, procedures, and instructions for airman duties / flight deck procedures for the Certificate Holder.

·      Certificate Holder’s flight operational procedures.

·      IAW EPI 3.1.3, Section 1 - Performance Observables Questions.

·      IAW the Certificate Holder’s flight operational procedures.

Knowledge:

SUBTASK 3:

ATOS

Review the associated SAI with emphasis on the controls, process measurements, and interface attribute sections.

Review the Certificate Holder’s Manuals for controls required in EPI 3.1.3; Section 2 – Management Responsibility and Authority Observables.

Conditions:
