TASK DESCRIPTION:

Designate a Designated Flight Engineer Examiner (DFEE) within an Aircrew Designated Aircrew (ADE) Program and document the results.

 

SUBTASK 1:

 

Evaluate DFEE’s application for designation and schedule an observation, if appropriate.

ELEMENT 1.1:

 

Review Flight Engineer’s application (FAA Form 8710-6) for completeness.

Objective / Skill:

Performance: 

Review Flight Engineer Examiner’s application.

Conditions:

·      SAI 4.2.10.

·      FAA Order 8900.1 and FAA Form 8710-6.

Standards:

·      IAW SAI 4.2.10.

·      IAW FAA Order 8900.1, Vol. 5, Chap. 4 and Vol. 13, Chap. 1 & Chap. 2.

Knowledge:

·              Understand the Regulatory Requirements and Policy contained in SAI 4.2.10.

Coordinate an appropriate observation with the Certificate Holder and Flight Engineer Examiner Candidate.
