1.         Receive request for administration of Category II or Category III Pilot Flight Check

            1.1        If request is for Category III Pilot Authorization, coordinate with Regional Flight Standards Operations Division and AFS-400 for guidance

            1.2        Schedule appointment and provide or advise applicant how to obtain AC-91-16 (as amended) and provide FAA Form 8710-1

2.         Examine applicant's credentials to determine eligibility

 

            2.1        If applicant is not eligible, return credentials to applicant

3.         Determine if applicant's aircraft meets the requirements of 14 CFR Part 91 for Category II/III operations

            3.1        If aircraft does not meet CAT II requirements, cancel flight check

4.         Conduct practical test
