To determine that the applicant meets all regulatory requirements and has the skills necessary to perform as a Chief or Assistant Chief Instructor for a 14 CFR Part 141 Flight School

1.         Determine need to conduct practical test for chief or assistant chief instructor

 

1.1                            Receive notification from air agency of the requirement for designation of a chief instructor/assistant chief instructor

3.            Review applicant's accident, incident, and violation history using appropriate FAA databases

5.         Review applicant's records and airman certificates to determine that applicant meets qualification requirements for position sought
