Guidelines for (O) & (M) Procedures

 

The FOEB has identified a need for certain procedures to provide an adequate level of safety while providing relief for the following items. These procedures must be established by the operator. The following guidelines are to help establish these required procedures:

(M)       Maintenance procedure to ensure no fuel leak, or electrical/mechanical             fault exists that may cause additional damage.

(M)       Maintenance procedure to determine which components have failed, and             a procedure to ensure that the position of the Outflow Valves will not                 create a hazard.

(M)       Maintenance procedure to secure the Air Conditioner to ensure no fault             exists that may cause damage.

(O)       Operations procedure to provide the flight crew guidance for recording             Heater operating time.
